This website is operated by Smart-Eye, of Abuja, Nigeria (“Smart-Eye”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use it.

It describes what Smart-Eye does and invites laboratories to apply for a pilot. It is information, not the product itself, and nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance.

We have written this site carefully and believe it to be accurate at the date shown above. Figures given for time saved, throughput or model behaviour are drawn from our own testing and from the conditions of the laboratories we have worked in. They are indicative. They are not a promise of what any particular laboratory will see, and a pilot exists precisely so that you can measure the real number on your own floor.

Smart-Eye is a clinical decision-support tool. It sorts and prioritises blood films and offers a score, a density estimate and the image regions behind them. It does not diagnose, and it does not authorise a result.

Every output of Smart-Eye requires verification, interpretation and formal authorisation by a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist or other appropriately qualified professional acting within their scope of practice. A queue assignment is a suggestion about where to look first. It is never a reason to withhold review from a film, to release a result unreviewed, or to depart from the standard of care or from your laboratory's own standard operating procedures.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no clinical decision about any patient should be made on the strength of it. Any regulatory approvals or registrations that apply to Smart-Eye in a given country will be stated in the agreement for that deployment; do not infer them from this website.

Sending the enquiry form starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve a place, or oblige either of us to proceed. A pilot begins only when a separate written agreement is signed, and that agreement — not this page — governs the pilot, including how any data produced during it is handled and who owns the resulting audit.

Please give us information that is accurate and that you are entitled to share. Do not put patient-identifiable or clinical detail into the form; see clause 3 of our Privacy Policy.

The Smart-Eye name and logo, the text, the illustrations, the photographs and the design and code of this site belong to Smart-Eye or to the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.

You may read the site, print pages from it, and share links to it for your own or your organisation's internal purposes. You may not republish it commercially, present it as your own, or strip our name from it. Logos of partner organisations belong to those organisations and appear here with permission; that permission does not extend to you.

You agree not to:

• use the site or the enquiry form unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send anything abusive, misleading or malicious;
• submit information you have no right to disclose, including anyone's personal or health information;
• attempt to gain access to any part of the site, its server, or connected systems that is not open to you;
• introduce malware, or attack the site by denial of service or any other means;
• scrape, mine or harvest the site systematically, or use it to build a competing product.

Where we link to another organisation we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. Their terms apply once you leave ours.

We do not promise that this site will always be available or free of error. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice. The site is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows we exclude the implied warranties that would otherwise attach to it.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Nigerian law does not permit us to limit — and that carve-out governs everything else in this clause.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, nor for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this website or from reliance on anything published on it. Liability arising from a signed pilot or supply agreement is dealt with in that agreement, not here.

We may revise these terms. The version in force is the one on this page, with the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have exclusive jurisdiction over them.
